BusinessWeek awards Hon-Hai, led by Terry Gou, the #2 ranking on its IT Top 100 list of 2005. Hon-Hai is a Taiwanese manufacturer of various connectors, cables, and other assemblies for multiple industries.

Terry Gou has funded a movie, and SAWF NEWS has announced that actor Aaron Kwok will act in this movie. Kwok won a Golden Horse award for his role as an abusive single father in the film "After This Our Exile."

Hon-Hai, under Terry Gou's leadership, has earned the #2 ranking in Far Eastern Economic Review's Top 200 for 2003. This ranking remains the same from Hon-Hai's ranking in the previous year.

Hon-Hai breaks ground on new research & development center. According to Hon-Hai CEO Terry Gou, the Taipei County facility will enhance the firm and turn it into a high tech firm.

The Taipei Times has reported that Hon-Hai, under the leadership of Terry Gou, reports a 30% Q1 sales hike for 2005. This hike is attributed to a sustained demand from the Christmas season.

Hon-Hai rising to the top of the electronic manufacturing services sector. Its competitors include Solectron and Flextronics. Hon-Hai's market-share rankings indicate that the company is in the #3 spot.

Hon-Hai's chief executive officer, Terry Gou, is ranked in the top 25 executives for CRN in 2005. Reasons for this ranking? Sales grew at 65.4 percent in September alone, to over $2 billion.
